STANDING ADVERTISEMENT FOR FACULTY OPENINGS (EXISTING & ANTICIPATED) IN THE DEPARTMENTS/SCHOOLS OF ENGINEERING/ ARCHITECTURE/MATHEMATICS/SCIENCE/ MANAGEMENT/ HUMANITIES

Institute invites applications from Indian nationals, possessing excellent academic background for selection to the faculty positions at the level of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor (under 6th CPC) in various departments and schools of the Institute. Institute is in the look out for persons with a flare of teaching and strong commitment for research. Vacancies have not been clearly demarcated and more vacancies are likely to arise in the near future. Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all posts without assigning any reason there of. This advertisement shall remain open till the vacancies are filled or till such time Institute wish so.

All applicants will have to apply through the on-line portal only (see the URL www.nitc.ac.in). All applications shall be screened and the suitable candidates shall be called for interview. Periodical interviews will be conducted based on institute’s requirements and the administrative convenience. No interim communication in this regard will be admissible. The qualifications, number of vacancies, and the selection criteria may vary in the case of the different departments and schools and shall be based on the requirement of the Institute from time to time. Assistant Professor	Ph. D Degree from a duly recognized University or Institute of high academic standing. A First Class or equivalent at the Graduate and/or Masters level in appropriate branch is preferable.	Nil	35	PB-3 AGP- 6000
Associate Professor	Ph. D Degree from a duly recognized University or Institute of high academic standing. A First Class or equivalent at the Graduate and/or Masters level in appropriate branch is preferable.	At least 6 years of teaching/research/industrial experience out of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor (AGP 8000) or equivalent.	45	PB-4 AGP- 9000
Professor	Ph. D Degree from a duly recognized University or Institute of high academic standing. A First Class or Equivalent at the Graduate and/or Masters level in appropriate branch is preferable.	At least 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, out of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor (AGP 9000) or equivalent.	50	PB-4 AGP-10000
