WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
Candidates who possess the
qualification mentioned below may attend the WALK-IN INTERVIEW on 21.03.2012
(Wednesday) between 9.00 AM and 11.00 AM with all original certificates,
including community certificate and recent passport size photograph. The
selected candidate will be working under the ICMR Task Force (tribal Welfare
Scheme project entitled “Entomological and Epidemiological Investigations on
leihmaniasis among the Kani Forest Tribes in the Tribal settlements of
Thiruvananthapuram Distt., Kerala”.
The selected candidate will be appointed initially for a period of one year and
the period will be extended up to two years based on their performance and availability
of funds. He/ She needs to work both at Puducherry and tribal settlements of
Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala along with a team.
1. NAME
OF THE POST: Senior Research Fellow
– 1 post
2. EDUCATIONAL
QUALIFICATION: First class Master’s degree in Veterinary
Science/ Zoology/ Medical Entomology from a recognized University
3.
EXPERIENCE: Two years of research
experience with evidences in the field of Vector surveillance/ systematics and
ecology of vectors of medical/ public health importance
4. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION:
Knowledge of computer application and NET qualification
5. JOB REQUIREMENT:
Surveillance of domestic dogs/sandflies/ assess the risk/ Incrimination
of vector/ parasite involved in leishmaniasis transmission in Western Ghats of
Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala .
6. FELLOWSHIP:
Rs.18,000/- + 20% HRA.
7. AGE LIMIT:
Below 35 years (as on the date of Walk-in- Interview) and relaxable for
SC/ST and OBC candidates, as per Govt. of India rules in force.

Centre, Medical Complex, Indira Nagar, Puducherry-605 006.
