Research Fellowship in Science for Meritorious Students at Genetics Department, Osmania University

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the Award of UGC-JRF under the UGC scheme of “Research Fellowship in Science for Meritorious Students” 2011 – 2012 – in the Department of Genetics, O.U. Hyderabad UGC Fellowships : @ Rs.14000/- per month and contingency grant of Rs.12,000/- per annum.

DURATION: Initially for 2 years and extendable for three more years on basis of performance

QUALIFICATIONS: M.Sc Genetics/Biotechnology/Microbiology/ Life Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks in the subject. Preference will be given for experience in the relevant Research

ELIGIBILITY: Candidates registered for Ph.D in Genetics

LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM: 16th March, 2012, by 3 P.M.

Applicants may apply in a prescribed form available with the Director, University Press and Publication, O.U. by enclosing the copies of the relevant certificates and a demand draft issued by a Nationalized Bank for Rs.50/- in favour of Registrar, O.U. payable at Hyderabad. Applicants called for interview have to attend on their own cost and NO TA/DA will be paid. Date of interview will be intimated later.
