INTERVIEW
A walk in interview for one
position of Junior Research Fellow and one position of Technical Assistant in
the DBT funded project entitled “
Establishment of State level Biotech Hub under special programme for NER” shall
be held on March 9, 2012 at 10.30 A.M
in the office chamber of Head, Dept. of Botany, North Eastern Hill University,
Shillong. Interested candidates may attend the Interview along with their
biodata and attested copies of all certificates.
Details of qualifications and
stipend/fellowship are as under:
1. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW – 01 POST.
QUALIFICATIONS: M.Sc. degree in Botany/Zoology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Agriculture/Life
Sciences with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination
(NET/GATE/BINC candidates will be given preference)
EMOLUMENT: Rs.12000.00 pm for the Ist and
IInd year and Rs. 14000.00 pm for the IIIrd year plus HRA as per NEHU rules for
non NET/GATE/BINC candidates and Rs. 16000.00 pm for the Ist and IInd year and
Rs. 18000.00 pm for the IIIrd year plus HRA as per NEHU rules for NET/GATE/BINC
candidates
2. TECHNICAL
ASSISTANT (TA) - 01 POST.
EMOLUMENT: Rs.12,000/- pm plus 15% HRA
QUALIFICATIONS: B.Sc. (Hons.) in
Botany/Zoology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Agriculture/Life Sciences/Chemistry.
Candidates with post B.Sc. laboratory experience in Biotechnology shall be preferred.
The positions are purely
temporary for the duration of the project. The emoluments for RA/JRF/SRF may
change as per the norms of DBT, New Delhi.
The appointment does not confer
any entitlement or right over the job for absorption in the university service.
