 Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow/ for the following time-bound sponsored project as per the details given below:

NAME OF THE PROJECT: Restoration of fertility by autologous male germ cell transplantation in young male individuals who lose their fertility upon chemotherapy. Under TATA INNOVATION Fellowship

QUALIFICATIONS - For SRF: M.Sc. with 2 years of research experience, preferably CSIR-NET cleared.

JOB DESCRIPTION / EXPERIENCE: The incumbent should be well versed with organ isolation and cell cultures, preferably from testicular tissue. He/she should have sound knowledge about gametogenesis, cell transplantation. He/She should be well versed with cellular events in signal transduction and techniques of immuno histochemistry, PCR, Real time PCR. The candidate should also have experience of handling rats and mouse.

EMOLUMENTS: Rs. 18,000/- plus 30% HRA

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.  The posts exist in sponsored projects and are purely temporary. There shall be no claim for regularisation against any core posts of the Institute.

2.  The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or duration of the project whichever is shorter, at a time.

3.  No hostel/ housing facility will be provided.

4. Number of posts may vary and shall be need based. Advertisement is no commitment.

5.  Applicants may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e SC/ST/OBC /PH and attach documentary proof of the same.

6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview if called for.

7. Name of three references.
