VACANCY FOR THE POST OF SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW IN THE DEPARTMENT OF NANOBIOTECHNOLOGY FOR PDMS FABRICATION

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the following post in the Nationally funded project titled “Fabrication of PDMS / Micro fluidics based platform channel for the detection of oligonucleotides in the serum”, to be implemented at the Department of Nanobiotechnology, Vision Research Foundation by the Investigators- Dr. J.Narayanan (Principal Investigator, (VRF Sankara Nethralaya), and Dr. S. Krishnakumar (Co-I, HOD-Pathology), Vision Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai- 600 006. The post is purely temporary for a period of 2 years. The candidate will have chance to use National fabrication facility at INUP, Bangalore in collaboration with PSG Institute of Advanced Studies, Coimbatore

NUMBER OF POST: One

NAME OF THE POST: Senior Research Fellow

QUALIFICATION: 1.M.Tech - Biomedical Engineering /Electrical /Mechanical Engineering personnel with research experience in MEMS/PDMS fabrication and surface modification are preferred.

Or

2. MSc- Solid state Chemistry/Physics with 2 years of experience in MEMS Fabrication

SALARY: 18,000 + 30%HRA
