Project assistant (genetic tool to study role of bmp ligands) at IIT, Kanpur

 Applications are invited for the post of Project Assistant in a DBT sponsored project (Ref No. BT/PR1880/MED/30/624/2011), entitled “Using a unique genetic tool to study the role of bmp ligands in neurogenesis and gliogenesis in the developing cortex” under the guidance of Dr. Jonaki Sen, Department of Biological Science and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.

DESIGNATION: Project Assistant
NUMBER OF POSITIONS: One
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree (BA/B.Sc.) with a minimum of four years of experience of working in an experimental developmental biology laboratory. Tally certification is a necessary.
DESIRABLE: Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in English is a must. Candidate must be well versed with Microsoft Office suite.
DURATION: Initially for one year and extendable on the basis of performance.
SALARY: In the range Rs. 9,000-900-18,000/- per month (Consolidated).
