DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH RESEARCH
DHR Human Resource Development Scheme for Fellowship/ Training Programme
The DHR is a newly-created department in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare for the purpose of promoting health research in the Country as improved health care with early diagnosis of the disease is also dependent on promotion of health research. The DHR is launching a scheme of “Human Resource Development for Health Research” with the following components:
· Development of Researchers an Critical and High Focused Areas
· Programme to promote medical research as a career among young scientists and medical students
· Creation of a national initiative in partnership with relevant stakeholders to attract and retain the young to a career in health research
· Schemes for focused programme on Human Resource Development in Medical Colleges
· Programme to establish an online teaching facility and web portal on health research for students, faculty and other researchers.
Applications are invited from faculty/ researchers working in the medical colleges/ research institutions for the following fellowships training in Indian/ Foreign Institutes.
The applications of eligible candidates in the prescribed form may be submitted to the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare by 30th January, 2012. The cover letter of the application must clearly mention the training for which it is applied for. Incomplete Applications & application sent in incorrect format are likely to be rejected straightaway. 15 copies of the application may be sent to:
