WALK IN TEST / INTERVIEW
A walk in test followed by interview (based on test) for the selection of One Senior Research Fellow will be held at this Institute on 15-11-2011 at 10.00 AM as per details indicated below:
NAME OF THE PROJECT: “Genome mining of plant associated endophytic bacteria for natural products”
NAME OF THE POST: Senior Research Fellow
NO. OF POSTS: One
QUALIFICATIONS: a) ESSENTIAL : M.Sc with Plant Pathology/Microbiology as major subject with high first class (above 70% marks)
b) DESIRABLE: One year research experience in the field in a reputed research institute.
FELLOWSHIP: Rs. 12000/- + HRA for first 2 years and Rs.14000/- +HRA for the third year for
post graduate degree holders
Or
Rs.16000/- + HRA for first 2 years and Rs. 18000/- + HRA for the third year for NET or equivalent qualified post graduate degree holders.
UPPER AGE LIMIT: 35 years for men and 40 years for women (Age limits are relaxable for SC, ST and OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms(at present 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
DURATION OF PROJECT: Three years or till the expiry of the project, whichever is earlier.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The above position is purely on temporary basis and is co-terminus with the project. There is no provision of re-employment after termination of project. The selected candidates will not have any right for claiming pay scale or absorption against any regular post being vacant on a later date at this Institute.
2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview
3. Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidate.
4. The decision of Director, IISR would be final and binding in all aspects.
