NATURE OF POST: Temporary

FELLOWSHIP: Rs.18,000/- + HRA per month for 1st & 2nd year and Rs.20,000/- + HRA per month for 3rd year for Postgraduate degree holders in Veterinary Science and Rs.16,000/- + HRA  for Ist & 2nd year and Rs. 18,000/- + HRA per month for 3rd year for post Graduate in subjects other than Veterinary Science

PROJECT TITLE: “Large animal health facilities and services, Subtitle: Strengthening of diagnostic and critical care facilities for domestic animals

SPONSORING AGENCY:  RKVY-B-2(III) Misc-19funded by the Govt. of India under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY).

JOB DESCRIPTION: In this project different diagnostic facilities have to be upgraded and newer techniques in the rapid diagnosis have to be developed and standardized on the clinical cases referred to the veterinary clinics of GADVASU. Also familiarization with the use of newer instruments meant for thereutic intervention in critically ill patients. The nature of Job includes working with the diagnostic & therapeutic instrument & equipment in Vety. Clinics and laboratory.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:

1.      B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.V.Sc. with a minimum OCPA of  5.00/10.00 basis or 50% marks or B.Sc. degree in any relevant branch of Life Sciences/Biological Sciences with at least second class.

 2.      M.V.Sc. in Clinical Veterinary Medicine/Veterinary Medicine/Surgery & Radiology  or M.V.Sc. in any branch of Veterinary Science with a minimum OGPA of 6.50 out of 10 basis or 65% marks or M.Sc. in Biological/Life Sciences.

 NOTE:   A candidate without knowledge of Punjabi would only be considered for appointment provided no candidate in that category, with knowledge in Punjabi is available.
