applications for NIPGR "Short-Term Research Fellowships" scheme

Applications are invited from
suitable candidates for filling up the purely temporary position of one
Research Associate in NIPGR "Short-Term Research Fellowships'
scheme under the guidance of Dr. Alok Krishna Sinha, Scientist, NIPGR.
POST: Research Associate (one post)
EMOLUMENTS: as per DST/DBT norms.
Candidates having Ph.D. degree in
Life Science/Biochemistry/Plant Sciences/Biotechnology etc, or related field
with Molecular Biology and Biochemistry background & experience in working
with transgenic system and tissue culture may apply. Candidates with additional
Experience in signaling mechanisms and reversible protein phosphorylation will
be preferred. The candidate should have first class/division throughout
academic career.
RESEARCH AREA: "Characterization of
Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase Cascade in Rice"
The position is completely on
temporary basis and for a maximum duration of three years. The initial
appointment will be for one year, which can be curtailed/extended on the basis
of assessment of the candidate's performance and discretion of the Competent
Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidate against the above
post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidates.
Reservation of post shall be as per Govt. of India norms.
