Renowned International and National Scientists will be delivering the talk in their area of expertise of cancer research. This conference will provide a platform for the interactions and collaborations with scientists from other countries towards global translational cancer research.

It will be a great opportunity for students and young scientists to interact with and learn from these leading scientists, and advance their research as well as career.

POSTER PRESENTATION

·         Poster presentations will be judged in exclusive poster session and awarded.

·         Poster size should not exceed: 4x3 feet, HxW.

·         It should include title, affiliation, abstract, brief introduction, methodology, results and conclusions, etc.

BEST POSTER AWARDS: THREE

The work presented through the poster will be discussed and judged by expert scientists in exclusive poster session. Based on its novelty, impact and presentation, three posters will be awarded with the certificate.

YOUNG RESEARCHER/SCIENTIST AWARDS: FIVE

The work of high quality and impact in different areas of cancer biology (peer reviewed) will be invited for oral presentation and awarded with certificate and cash prize. In addition, the selected abstracts from Ph.D. students, PDF and RA for the awards will have to be presented in the form of poster as well.

Travel

·         Some students, presenting their work at the symposium, may be given travel or accommodation support, in part. They should apply for this citing the reasons/inability to cover the expenses, and that should be endorsed by their supervisor. Travel reimbursement will be covered only from their University/Institute to Ahmedabad/Sabarmati (shortest route) through sleeper class travel (non-AC).

·         Autos, taxis and buses are always available from Ahmedabad/Sabarmati to reach Gandhinagar.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

(ii) The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially up to December 2012, but may be extended further based on the performance of the candidate or till the termination of the project.
