EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: M.Sc. Life Sciences or related areas

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates with good working experience in handling sophisticated instruments like Flowcytometer, microarray, 2-D electrophoresis, PCR, computer lab etc. will be preferred.

Indian universities/research institutions for the Winter School on ‘Writing Research Proposals’ to be held from 15 to 29 December 2011. This winter school is aimed to provide the participating Assistant Professors and scientists an overall experience in writing good quality research proposals for major National and International funding agencies. Candidates should submit the filled application form to Prof. P. Gunasekaran, Convener, UGC-NRCBS Winter School on ‘Writing Research Proposals’,School of Biological Sciences, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai 625 021 on or before 30 November

2011. Applications should be forwarded by their Head of the department or Head of the institution.

Applications sent via e-mail will also be considered. The duly forwarded hard copy should reach within a

week. The candidates will be selected based on their qualification and research interests.
