Applications are invited for the award of one post of Senior Research Fellows (SRFs) on consolidated fellowship @ Rs. 16,000/- per month under the ad-hoc project “Evaluation of the fertilizer potential of seaweed saps in Green gram and Black gram” funded by Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar, Gujrat. Applicants possessing M.Sc or Ph.D in Soil Science/ Agronomy/ Microbiology with relevant experience in conducting field studies may apply on plain paper with the following information to the Head, Department of Soil Science latest by March 20th 2012. Candidates fulfilling the qualification should appear in interview on March 21st, 2012 at 11.15 AM in the Committee Room of Department of Soil Science. Essential qualification: Masters Degree in Agricultural Sciences (Economics/ Extension/Agronomy) or M.Sc. in Food Science/Food Technology or MABM or MBA with Advertisement and Marketing specialization or Micro Biology. Desirable qualifications: Experience in FMCG/Food Sector. Knowledge in cultivation of field crops/cereals, extension services, computer skills, ability to analyse statistical data and demonstrated documentation skills.	Rs. 16,000 per month + 30% HRA
Research Associate	NAIP on Millets Value Chain upto 30.06.2012 and extendable for two more years .	Essential qualifications: a. M.Phil/MA in English or Economics with proven skills in documentation/technical writing b. Ph.D or M.Sc. Ag. (Agricultural Economics/Extension or any other Agricultural Sciences including Food Technology/ Sciences.) Desirable qualifications: Ph.D. or Masters Degree with relevant experience. Knowledge in cultivation of field crops/cereals, extension services, computer skills, ability to analyse statistical data and demonstrated documentation skills, experience in  project co‐ordination works.	Rs.23,000 per month + 30% HRA

The above positions are purely temporary and on co‐terminus basis for the period of the project. The candidates shall submit the application at the time of interview in the proforma enclosed along with a passport size photograph, attested copies of requisite marksheets, certificates and supporting documents. They have to produce all the original certificates at the time of interview for verification. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Decision of the Director, DSR is final and binding in all respects.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
