EMPLOYMENT NOTICE

WALK-IN INTERVIEW

The Principal Scientist & Head intends to recruit two Senior Research Fellows in the following project as indicated below purely on contractual basis. The interview of eligible candidates for the above posts will be held on 25 September, 2012 (Tuesday) at 11:00 A.M. at IARI-Regional Station, Residency Area (Near College of Agriculture), INDORE–452 001 (M.P.). Eligible candidates fulfilling all the requirements should bring their application in the format mentioned below giving full details of academic records and experience along with attested photocopies as well as original copies of relevant documents along with one passport size photograph. Details of the positions are given below:

Age limit: Maximum age 35 years (age relaxation for SC/ST, women and OBC candidates as per rules).

Essential qualification for the post (Post 1): M.Sc. (Agric.) degree in Agronomy /Soil Science.

Essential qualification for the post (Post 2): M.Sc. (Agric.) degree in Agricultural Extension/ Agricultural Economics.

Desirable for Post 1: (i) Experience of working in laboratory for soil and plant analysis and (ii) Basic computer skills.

Desirable for Post 2: (i) Experience of working with field crops; (ii) Basic computer skills; (iii) Photo and Videography and (iv) Report Writing.

Emoluments for the posts: Rs. 16,000/- + 20% HRA.

The above posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for a period of one year, but may be extended on year-to-year basis, based on performance of the candidate. The candidate shall not claim for regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview. Only the candidates having essential qualification would be entertained for the interview.
