JRF Position in BRNS Project
Applications are invited for the position of a Junior Research Fellow in the research project entitled
Effect of irradiation on biochemical and phytochemical constituents in some species of mushrooms and toadstools of Western Ghat Forests of Karnataka’ for a period of three years. It is a field work cum laboratory study.
Qualifications: The applicant should have a Master’s degree in Biosciences/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Botany/Applied Botany with a minimum of 55% of marks.
The fellowship amount is Rs 16,000 p.m. + HRA for first two years and on re-designation as SRF by
committee in the third year @ Rs 18,000 per month.

Duration of the project: Three years
Age limit: 28 years
