Interview will
be conducted for One (01) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under the
Department of Biotechnology
(DBT), Govt. of India funded Twining Project titled “Effect of heavy metals & pesticides on male fertility & testicular carcinoma in
situ: resveratrol, coenzyme Q10 targeting the therapeutic machinery of pre-cancerous cellular condition”. Candidates may
appear for the interview on July 19, 2012 in the
Department of Life Science and Bioinformatics, Assam University, Silchar at
11.00 AM.
Eligibility: Master Degree in
Life Science (Zoology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry) or allied disciplines from a
recognized University/Institute with at least 55% marks.
Fellowship: Rs. 16,000/- +
10% HRA for NET/GATE
Rs. 12,000/- +
10% HRA for non-NET/GATE
The JRF Post may
be upgraded to SRF in the third year
