ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW – LEPTOSPIROSIS RESEARCH LABORATORY, SELF-FINANCING SCHEME

A walk-in interview will be held on 02.07.2012, Monday, 11.00 a.m at the Leptospirosis Research Laboratory, Centre for Animal Health Studies, Madhavaram Milk Colony Campus, Chennai – 51, for the post of Senior Research Fellow.

QUALIFICATION: - M.Sc (any branch of life sciences/ Biotechnology) M.V.Sc Veterinary Microbiology / Preventive Medicine / Animal Biotechnology/ Biochemistry)

AGE:- Below 30 years

EXPERIENCE: -

1. Preference will be given for those candidates having experience in related laboratory work

2. Basic Computer knowledge

Duties and responsibilities: -

Work involves,

1. Laboratory work

2. Field work

3. Logistics

Basic microbiology, serology molecular biology work with reference to leptospira and other zoonotic organisms.

LOCATION: Leptospirosis Research Laboratory, Centre for Animal Health Studies,

TANUVAS, Madhavaram Milk Colony Campus, Chennai – 600 051.

TERMS AND CONDITION: -

1. Duration up to 18.09.2012 likely to be extended for a further period of 3 years.

2. Purely on temporary basis

3. SALARY Rs. 16,000/-p.m (no allowances permitted)

4. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview

5. Six days work per week

Note: Bring original certificates in support of age, qualification, photo I.D. Card and experience certificate if any.

WRITTEN/ ORAL EXAMINATION: - A written and oral examination will be conducted on 02.07.2012, 11.00 a.m at the Leptospirosis Research Laboratory, Centre for Animal Health Studies, Madhavaram Milk Colony Campus, Chennai – 51.
