A walk-in-Interview will be held
on 2nd July 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Seminar Room of Plant Biology Division at
Centenary Campus of Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII M, Kolkata- 700
054 for the following positions in the DBT sponsored Project III entitled, “Identification of genetic Ioci for
development of MYMIV resistance in Vigna" under the guidance of Prof.
Amita Pal, Division of Plant Biology (Centenary Building). The project is
tenable upto 03.12.2013. Details are as follows:
1. POSITION: Research Associate (One Post)
ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION:
Ph. D. degree in subjects related to Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Plant
Sciences.
DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATION:
Working knowledge of plant transformation, gene cloning and molecular
techniques.
ASSOCIATESHIP: Rs. 22,000/- p.m., plus
admissible HRA as per rules.
AGE: Below 35 years (relaxable in
case of SC/ST/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
2. POSITION: Laboratory Assistant (One Post)
ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION:
B.Sc. degree from a recognized University with adequate knowledge in biological
laboratory techniques.
DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATION:
1-2 years hands on experience on laboratory work with sufficient computer
knowledge including MS office, Photoshop, Excel.
CONSOLIDATED
REMUNERATION: Rs.
8000/- p.m. (fixed).
AGE: Below 30 years (relaxable in
case of SC/ST candidates only as per rule).
Eligible and interested
candidates are requested to appear in person directly before the Selection
Committee with a typed application addressed to the Registrar, Bose Institute,
P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII M, Kolkata- 700 054 along with Bio-data giving
details of qualification i.e. Board/University from where examination passed,
year, division, percentage of marks from Madhyamic or equivalent onwards with
attested copies of Marksheets, Certificates and Testimonials.
