 Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow/Junior Research Fellow for the following time-bound sponsored project as per the details given below:

NAME OF THE PROJECT & DURATION OF THE PROJECT: Indian Origin Silk Based Biomimetic Scaffolds for Engineering of Load-bearing Tissue.

 JOB DESCRIPTION & DESIRED KNOWLEDGE: Candidates should have experience in animal cell culture, animal handling and flow Cytometery.

Additional Exp. on Tissue Engineering Histological/Immunohistological analysis, real time PCR.

QUALIFICATIONS: - M.Sc in Biological Sciences (Those who completing M.Sc in July 2012 may also apply). 2 year relevant experience is required for SRF.

EMOLUMENTS: -

SRF:  Rs. 18,000/- per month consolidated + 30% HRA if leading to Ph.D/NET Qualified depending upon qualifications & Experience Otherwise Rs. 14,000/- per month consolidated +30% HRA.

JRF:  Rs. 16,000/- per month + 30% HRA consolidated if NET qualified Otherwise Rs. 12,000/- per month consolidated + 30% HRA.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:-

1.          The posts exist in sponsored projects and are purely temporary. There shall be no claim for              regularisation against any core posts of the Institute.

2           The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or duration of the              project whichever is shorter, at a time.

3.           No hostel/ housing facility will be provided.

4.           Number of posts may vary and shall be need based. Advertisement is no commitment.

6.          Applicants may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH and attach              documentary proof of the same.

7.          No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview if called for.

8.          Name of three references.
