 Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow for the following time-bound sponsored project as per the details given below:

NAME OF THE PROJECT & DURATION OF THE PROJECT: Understanding the role of different domains on the stability of interferon-g induced human guanylate binding protein-1

 POST DETAILS AND NO OF POSTS: JRF (One post)

 JOB DESCRIPTION/EXPERIENCE: The candidate should have experiences in basic molecular biology, cloning, expression and purification of recombinant proteins. The candidate should be self motivated. Experiences with cell cultures and biophysical works will be preferable.

QUALIFICATIONS: -

M.Sc in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Biophysics (The candidate must have at least two years of research experience).

EMOLUMENTS:

Junior Research Fellow:  Rs. 14,000/- consolidated per month plus 30% HRA (NET-qualified JRF may expect a revise fellowship)

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.          The posts exist in sponsored projects and are purely temporary. There shall be no claim for regularisation against any core posts of the Institute.

2            The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or duration of the                project whichever is shorter, at a time.

3.           No hostel/ housing facility will be provided.

4.           Number of posts may vary and shall be need based. Advertisement is no commitment.

6.          Applicants may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH and attach              documentary proof of the same.

7.          No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview if called for.

8.          Name of three references.
