QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
PhD in Life Sciences (any stream). Ability to conduct experiments
independently, with minimal supervision, Excellent verbal and written
communication skills, Proven ability to organize results for publication,
•Proven ability for independent thinking and innovation. Preference will be
given for post-PhD experience in any reputed Academic Institute.
TECHNICAL
EXPERTISE:
Molecular biology techniques:
Molecular cloning, Site-directed mutagenesis; PCR, qPCR,
Biochemical techniques:
Recombinant protein expression and Purification; Cell fractionation
co-immunoprecipitation Western blotting
Cell culture: 2-D/ 3-D Mammalian
cell culture, Transfection
KNOWLEDGE IN :
Basic expertise in Unix/Linux
operating systems, skilled in the use of MySQL databases and/ or scripting
languages like Java, C++ and Perl (Bioperl). Knowledge of a statistical
analysis language such as R, Matlab is a plus.
