RESEARCH POSITIONS

Applications are invited for the following positions in an ICMR Sponsored project entitled “Molecular epidemiology of rotavirus diarrhea in children under five in Southwest India- A hospital and laboratory based study” at Manipal centre for Virus Research, Manipal University, Manipal for a period of three years.

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE-1 NO

QUALIFICATION : MD(Microbiology) OR PhD (Virology /Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Molecular biology/Life Sciences)

DESIRABLE: Experience in diagnostic Virology/Molecular Biology/Bioinformatics and willingness to travel to study sites at Calicut & Malappuram, Kerala

EMOLUMENTS: Rs.23, 000+HRA Rs.2300 pm only

DATA ENTRY OPERATOR-1NO

QUALIFICATIONS: BSc/BCom and Diploma in Computer Application (DCA) and two years experience in data entry and accounting.

DESIRABLE: Experience in virology laboratory, data entry and accounting and willingness to travel to study sites at Calicut & Malappuram, Kerala

EMOLUMENTS: Rs.16, 179 pm only

LABORATORY ASSISTANT(LABORATORY TECHNICIAN-B)-1NO

QUALIFICATIONS ESSENTIAL: BSc (MLT)/Diploma MLT

DESIRABLE: Experience in virology laboratory, data entry and accounting and willingness to travel to study sites at Calicut & Malappuram, Kerala

EMOLUMENTS: Rs.16, 179 pm only
