Applications in the prescribed
application form supported by relevant testimonials are invited from intending
candidates for appointment to the following post for the Department of Biotechnology,
New Delhi sanctioned Twining project (Order No. BT/24/NE/TBP/ 2010 dt.
14.03.2011)) entitled “Determining the border line between India and
Indochinese sub-regions through comparative phytogeography of Butterflies of
North Eastern India” to the Departments of Zoology and
Biotechnology, School of Life Sciences, Mizoram University, Aizawl, Mizoram.
POST: Project Assistant – One (01)
ELIGIBILITY:
M.Sc. degree in Biological/ Life Sciences and post-M.Sc research experience is
essential.
(EMOLUMENT: Rs.8,000/- pm
Age: below 28 years.
GENERAL TERMS AND
CONDITIONS
•The term of service is two years
depending on the performance and/or other conditions prevailing at that time.
Fellowship amount and age relaxations will be as per norms of DBT, New Delhi
norms. The post is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project. The
appointment does not confer any entitlement or right over the job and will not
be considered as formal service.
•The walk in interview will be on
23 March 2012 at 11:00 am in the Dept. of Biotechnology. Applications, neatly
typed on plain paper, stating the name, address, date of birth, educational
qualifications and experiences along with attested photocopies of mark sheets
and certificates should be submitted on the date of the walk in interview. All
the Original certificates should be produced for verification.
•No TA & DA will be paid for
appearing in the walk-in interview.
