Applications are invited for the
temporary post of JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW for the BRNS project on “DEVELOPMENT OF ANTIFOULING COATINGS BASED ON SURFACE
MODIFICATION APPROACH” in the Department of BIOTECHNOLOGY.
DURATION: Initially for a period of one
year and likely to be extendable further.

QUALIFICATION:
POST 1. M.Sc with valid GATE / UGC-NET or
M.Tech in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Marine biology or any
allied sciences with 60% average or 6.0 CGPA
POST 2. M.Sc or B.E / B.Tech in Organic
or Polymer Chemistry with Valid GATE Score with 60% average or 6.0 CGPA
DESIRABLE: POST 1. Candidates with laboratory
experience in biofilms and their characterization.
POST 2. Candidates with polymer synthesis
or characterization or coatings.
FELLOWSHIP: Rs. 12,000/- p.m
NOTE: Candidates will be eligible for
House Rent Allowance as per Institute norms, subject to eligibility.
Other things being equal,
preference will be given to SC/ST candidates. The Co-ordinator has the
discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a
reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the
minimum prescribed in the announcement.
