Applications are invited from
Indian Citizens for the posts of Junior Research Fellow in the different
projects as per details given below. All the posts are co-terminus with the
projects.
Project
No. 1 (one post of JRF) : Indo-Korean collaborative Project entitled
“Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection : understanding the role of microRNAs in
regulating the immune response of macrophages” under Prof. Joyoti Basu, Dept.
of Chemistry. The presume date of termination of the project is 22nd August
2014.
Project
No. 2 (one post of JRF) : DST sponsored Project entitled “Stress-induced
regulation of extracytoplasmic sigma factors in mycobacteria” under Prof. Manikuntala Kundu,
Dept. of Chemistry. The project is tenable upto 6th December 2013.
QUALIFICATION &
FELLOWSHIP FOR PROJECT NO. 1 & 2 :
ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION: A
good M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences with CSIR-UGC NET-JRF or NET-LS /
GATE qualification.
FELLOWSHIP: Rs. 16,000/- p.m., plus
admissible HRA for CSIR-UGC NET-JRF Rs. 12,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA for
CSIR-UGC NET-LS / GATE
Project
No. 3 (two posts of JRF) : ICMR sponsored Project entitled “Role of the
secretory antigen HP0175 in Helicobacter pylori-mediated induction of autopagy” under Prof. Manikuntala
Kundu,Dept. of Chemistry. The project is tenable upto 29th March 2014.
Qualification & Fellowship
for Project No. 3 :
ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION: A
good M.Sc. in Life Sciences / Chemistry with ICMR-NET or CSIRUGC NET-JRF
qualification.
FELLOWSHIP: Rs. 16,000/- p.m., plus
admissible HRA
AGE FOR PROJECT NO.
1, 2 & 3 :
Below 28 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per
rule).
Interested and eligible
