Walk-in-interview
Applications in general proforma are invited for engagement of under mentioned positions under the time bound ICAR Niche Area of Excellence Project entitled, "Development of biosensors for diagnosis of Peste des petits reminants (PPR) and Brucellosis" funded by the Education Division of ICAR, New Delhi.
The engagement(s) are purely on temporary/contractual basis, co-terminus with the project or earlier, depending upon perfromance of the candidate. The services of the person so engaged will automatically stand terminated with termination of the project and the Institute will hold no responsibility for payment of emoluments/regular employment after termination of the time bound project.
1. NAME & NUMBER OF POSITION: Research Associate (One)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: PhD degree in the discipline of Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/Veterinary microbiology OR Masters degree in the discipline of Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Veterinary Microbiology with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from fellowship/Associate ship/ Training. Published research papers will be desirable.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: Working experience of handling animal virus, cell lines and laboratory animals. Experience of molecular biology techniques, synthetic peptides, and immobilization of bio-molecules etc.
AGE LIMIT: Maximum 40 Years for men and 45 years for women as on date of interview. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rules.
EMOLUMENTS: 23,000/- per month + HRA admissible as per rule (For Master degree holders)
24,000/- per month + HRA admissible as per rule (For PhD degree holders)
2. NAME & NUMBER OF POSITION: Senior Research Fellow (One)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: Masters degree in the discipline of Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Veterinary Microbiology
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: Working experience of Molecular Biology Techniques, handling cell lines and laboratory animals.
AGE LIMIT: Maximum 35 Years for men and 40 Years for women as on date of interview. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rules.
EMOLUMENTS: 16,000/- per month + HRA admissible as per rule
