Walk-In interview for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligible candidates are invited to attend Walk-in-interview for one post of Junior Research Fellow under Enhancing utilization of nutrients in feed / fodder through TANUVAS – GRAND SUPPLEMENT – A Pilot project to be held on 18th February 2012 at 11.00 A.M in the Veterinary University Training and Research Centre, No.6/7, 1st Main road, Ramalinga nagar, Trichy-620 003.
The nature of work will be handling of cows, data collection at farmers residences, distribution of scheme materials to the farmers, documentation and compilation of data.
QUALIFICATIONS: B.V.Sc degree with a minimum OGPA of 3.50/4.00 or 8.00/10.00 or M.Sc degree in Biological Sciences with a minimum OGPA of 3.50/4.00 or 8.00/10.00 or first class.
SALARY: Rs 12,000 + HRA per month
DURATION: one year or until completion of the project.
Maximum age limit is 40 years.
No TA/DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the interview.
This post is purely contractual and co-terminus with the project and having no provision for regularization.
The Overall Coordinator reserves the right to cancel / postpone the interview without assigning any reason thereof. He also reserves the right to terminate the contract, even before completion of the project for which no appeal thereof shall be made.
Candidates are required to bring the original copies of all relevant documents, certificates and mark sheets along with an application in plain paper with full bio-data along with passport size photograph.
A written exam consisting of Objective type questions in the areas of biological science would be held for duration of one hour followed by oral interview.
The qualifying candidates are expected to start working within 1-2 weeks from the selection date. Candidate with B.V.Sc Degree selected as Junior Research Fellow shall execute a bond to serve in the University for a minimum period prescribed by the University from time to time. If the individual resigns/discontinues the University service within the prescribed period of service, he/she is liable to pay a penalty of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) for every year or part thereof to be rendered to University as per agreement. The pure science graduates are exempted from executing bond and they have no claim for any concession/benefits to that of Veterinary graduates in the university.
