Nominations in the prescribed proforma are invited by the Secretary, Odisha Bigyan Academy, Bhubaneswar for the following Awards and for felicitation of Senior scientists of Odisha for the Year 2012.
1. BIJU PATNAIK AWARD FOR SCIENTIFIC EXCELLENCE.
(Life time research contributions up to December, 2011 shall be considered for the award year 2012)
2. SAMANTA CHANDRA SEKHAR AWARD
(The research contributions for the calendar year 2007 to 2011 shall be considered for the award year 2012)
3. ODISHA YOUNG SCIENTISTS AWARD.
(The Research work in Odisha up to December, 2011 shall be considered for the award year 2012)
4. PRANAKRUSHNA PARIJA POPULAR SCIENCE AWARD.
(For Authors of popular science books in Odia)
5. FELICITATION OF SENIOR SCIENTISTS OF ODISHA.
