NOTIFICATION

{For engagement of Project Assistants under Grant-in-Aid project(s)}

Applications are invited on plain paper for in the prescribed form (Annexure-Il) which is also displayed on NEERI's website for engagement on Adhoc Basis as Project Assistant -II on behalf of the sponsor as per the following details:

1. PROJECT TITLE (NAME AND ADDRESS OF THE SPONSOR): National Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Programme 2005-11 : G-l-1361

2. PRESCRIBED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (S): M.Sc. (Environmental Science, Chemistry) with minimum 5570 marks (relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidate) for PA-II, B.Tech/M.Tech (Chem/Env Engg)

3. AGE LIMIT*:28 years for PA-II (relaxation in age limit of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and women as per Govt. rules)

4. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: Throughout first class with experience in Air Quality Monitoring   (Six Months) with Computer proficiency

5. JOB REQUIREMENT: Air quality monitoring, data analysis and interpretation, air pollution instruments calibration studies, knowledge of computer operations (Six months experience)

6. CONSOLIDATED FIXED REMUNERATION (P.M.): Rs. 12,000/- for PA-II

7. NO. OF POSITIONS (THE NUMBER OF POSITIONS MAY VARY AT THE TIME OF ACTUAL ENGAGEMENT): Two (number of positions may vary)

AGE RELAXATION: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC for all categories of project assistants.

The engagement is purely on a temporary and contractual basis under the externally funded Grant-in-Aid project undertaken by NETRI which may be extended or curtailed depending on the status/duration of the project, satisfactory performance/conduct of the project Assistants. It is a placement under sponsored project and will be co-terminus with the project duration under any case. The engagement shall not be an appointment in CSIRNEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit on the candidates for regularization/absorption against any post in NEERI/CSIR or under any other scheme of CSIR. The adhoc appointment (3 months) is subject to regularization and confirmation as per the new procedure.

Interested and eligible candidates may appear for a walk-in interview with bio-data in the prescribed format (Annexure II) supported by copies of documentary proof of date of birth, educational qualifications and experience. caste certificate etc. before the Selection Committee on January 11,2012 at 10:30 A.M. in Room No. 19 at APC Division.  No TA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. No Separate interview call letter will be issued. Candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed educational qualifications will not be interviewed.
