POST: PostDoctoral Fellow
Tissue Safety Microbiology Laboratory in the Division of Cellular and Gene Therapies (DCGT), at the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) at Bethesda, MD is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to study adventitious pathogens in tissue grafts. The scientist will be using molecular technologies for detection and characterization of various infectious pathogens. A strong virology background is crucial. Knowledge and previous experience in Bioinformatics of data analysis in massively parallel sequencing for the detection, identification and characterization of various infectious agents in clinical samples are also highly desired. The fellowship offers an excellent opportunity for training in virology, High Throughput Sequencing and bioinformatics.
REQUIREMENTS:
