Experimental Physical Chemistry
The Department of Inorganic and Physical Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Science has a strong programme in experimental physical chemistry. The profile of our Department can be viewed at http://ipc.iisc.ernet.in/
The Department is planning to recruit one or two young assistant professors, particularly in the following areas
- Spectroscopy and dynamics
- Surfaces and interfaces
- Soft matter including polymer
- Energy and environment
Candidates with a strong background in experimental physical chemistry with the desire to establish unique experimental facilities for addressing fundamental questions in physical chemistry/chemical physics are particularly welcome.
