Applications in the given proforma are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Research Associate in a research project under NAIP project funded by ICAR, New Delhi.
NAME OF THE POSITION: Research Associate (One)
NAME OF THE SCHEME: “Rumen microbial diversity in domesticated and wild ruminants and impact of additives on methanogenesis and utilization of poor quality fibrous feeds” under the NAIP project, Division of Animal Nutrition, IVRI, Izatnagar.

of Animal Nutrition, IVRI, Izatnagar
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: Ph.D. in Animal Nutrition/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Animal Science
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: Experience of working with livestock, molecular biology techniques handling of computers and analytical equipments
REMUNERATION: Rs. 24000/- p.m. (fixed) + 20% HRA
DURATION OF PROJECT: Upto March 31, 2012
AGE LIMIT: Between 21-40 years and 21-45 years as on the date of interview for male and female candidates, respectively (upper age limit relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST and 3 years in case of OBC candidate)

This engagement is subject to terms and conditions in force in ICAR for such schemes. There is no provision of absorption/re-employment in IVRI/ICAR after termination of the project. The service of the person so engaged will automatically stand terminated with termination of the project. The appointment is purely on temporary basis and liable to be terminated at anytime without assigning any reasons thereof.
