Applications are invited for yearly contractual posts under the Research Project as per details given below.

PROJECT ENTITLED: "DBT Programme Support on Computational Biology" (RP02146) Duration ofthe project Upto 19-09-2013

PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR: Dr. B. Jayaram

POST (i) Sr. Project Scientist

(ii) Sr. Project Assistant (Admn.)

(iii) Project Attendant

CONSOLIDATED PAY (i) Rs. 40,000-64,000/: plus 20% HRA

(ii) Rs. 25,000-40,000/-plus 20% HRA (iii)Rs. 10,500-16,500/-plus 20% HRA

QUALIFICATIONS· (i) Essential: 1st Class B.E/MCA/M.Sc or equivalent with minimum 6 years of experience in the area ofHigh Performance Computing especially in Bioinformatics field.

DESIRABLE: Should have a good exposure to the Bioinformatics tools and softwares in a parallel computing mode. Hands on experience for creating Linux/SoJaris based clusters and having an exposure of Grid computing, experience in managing a high erfd set up of HPC Infrastructure

(II) ESSENTIAL: Graduate Degree in Commerce. At least 5 years ofWR.rk experience in the area of Managing Projects, Accounting and stores related activities.

DESIRABLE: 1O'years working experience of handling project accounts, managing inventory items &records, preparation of publication and manuals or experience in handling work in connection with meetings and conferences.

(III) ESSENTIAL: 12th class with 5 years experience. Desirable: Working experience in a Computer lab. Also must have a basic working knowledge of computers along with some basic computer hardware knowledge also.
