The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun wishes to engage one Project Assistant (Technical) for its GEF-WB (IDA) Project on “Biodiversity Conservation and Rural Livelihood Improvement” on purely temporary and contractual basis.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: Post Graduate Degree in Forestry/Zoology/Botany/Wildlife Science in First Class.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: (i) Good working knowledge of computers (especially the Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point), (ii) Experience in dealing with scientific data and preparation of scientific reports/documentation.
AGE: Not exceeding 35 years as on 30.11.2011.
CONSOLIDATE EMOLUMENTS: Rs. 16,000 per month.
DURATION OF CONTRACTUAL ENGAGEMENT: One year from the date of joining. Likely to be extended for further period(s) depending upon the requirement of the project and satisfactory performance.
