Applications are invited for two positions of JRFs in a MoEF funded project – “Inventorisation and Monitoring of Biosphere Reserves in India using RS & GIS technology”. Posts are field based and require extensive traveling in remote places of Indian Himalayan Region.

PROJECT: “Inventorisation and Monitoring of Biosphere Reserves in India using RS & GIS technology”
FUNDING AGENCY: Ministry of Environment & Forests, Govt. of India.
VACANCIES: Two
FELLOWSHIP: 12,000/- per month+HRA
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION DESIRABLE DUTIES: 1st Class Masters in Biological Sciences / Remote Sensing & GIS & Allied / Environmental Sciences. Experience in Remote Sensing. Each JRF will be responsible to develop GIS database for one of the BRs in the Himalayan region Sikkim /  Arunachal Pradesh
AGE LIMIT: 28 Years
