Advertisement for Studentship at BIF

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following purely temporary position of  Studentship under Department of Biotechnology, Government of India funded Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility (BIF), Department of Bioinformatics, School of Biotechnology and Biological Sciences, West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata.

STUDENTSHIP – 01 (one post) purely temporary for a period of six months or coterminous

with the BIF project (whichever is earlier)

STIPEND: Rs.5000/- p.m. fixed

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: Students who have completed Masters degree or pursuing final year postgraduate degree in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics or any branch of Life Sciences/Chemical Science/Physical science with a programme in Bioinformatics, to carry out a project work in Bioinformatics.

HOW TO APPLY: Applications, neatly typed on plain paper, stating the name, address, date of birth, educational qualifications and experiences, valid Email ID along with attested photocopies of mark sheets and certificates should reach the Coordinator on or before 24th October 2011.

Short-listed candidates will be called for the interview on 31st October 2011 (will be informed only through Email). No TA & DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
