WALK -IN INTERVIEW
The Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi intends to recruit the outstanding personnel for post of Senior Research Fellow in the following DBT funded projects purely on contractual basis. Details of the position are given below:
NAME OF THE PROJECT: Development of double low (canola type) Indian mustard (Brassica juncea) through marker assisted selection
SPONSORING AGENCY: DBT
PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR PI: Dr. D.K.Yadava, Senior Scientist
NAME OF POST: SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
NO. OF POST: 1(Unreserved)
EMOLUMENTS (Fixed) PM: Rs. 18000/- plus HRA
QUALIFICATION:
ESSENTIAL: M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/ Genetics/ PB&G/ Plant Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology. NET qualified. Minimum two years experience in use of molecular markers/ breeding field crops/ quality analysis.
AGE LIMIT: Maximum age 35 years for SRF (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).
NATURE OF POST: Purely temporary and on contractual basis
DURATION: up to March 2012, but may be extended further based on the performance of the candidate or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier.
DATE OF WALK-IN INTERVIEW: 12th September, 2011 at 10.00 A.M.
VENUE: Chamber of Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110012.
The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
The candidates will have to bring a copy of bio-data (signed), original certificates, and photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and a copy of recent passport size photograph.
 No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview. It may be noted that M.Sc. degree certificate either original or provisional is essentially to be brought while attending the interview. T
The candidate intending to visit for interview, if any of his near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare its name, designation, nature of duties and relationship, in writing so as to reach by 8th of September, 2011. If on the date of interview such declaration furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be allowed for interview.
