POSITION: Senior Research Fellow
DEPARTMENT:Department of  Pharmacology and Toxicology , NIPER
NUMBER OF POSTS: 1
SALARY: Rs 14000+ HRA as applicable
PROJECT TITLE: Evaluation of the effects of Hyperglycemia on Sodium Channel kinetics and neurite growth in dorsal root ganglion neurons and its modulation by neuronal growth factors(Project: GP-354)

PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR: Dr. J.N. SINGH
QUALLIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: First Class marks/grades in aggregate in M.Pharm /M.S Pharma /M.Sc with 2 years experience or equivalent degree in relevant subject(Life Sciences/Zoology/Biochemistry/Pharmacology/neuroscience) with NET/ GATE/GPAT. Research experience in the field of cell culture , eukaryotic gene expression  studies ad electrophysiology research techniques will be preferred.
AGE LIMIT: 32 yrs(Age relaxation for SC/ST/PH/OBC as per GOI rules)
TENURE: positions are purely temporary initially for one year , extendable up to 2 years based on performance of the candidate and are  co-terminus with the project and do not hold the right to permanency.
DATE OF WALK-IN INTERVIEW: 12.9.201 T 2:30 PM
VENUE: Conference room Convention  Center , NAIPER , Sector-67, SAS Nagar(Mohali-160062).
