POSITION: JRF (technical) positions (2 posts)
SPONSORING AGENCY: DST
PROJECT: GP-341) at the Department of Medicinal Chemistry (NIPER) in the area of oxidation reactions using cytochromes.
AGE LIMIT: 35 years
QUALIFICATIONS: Should have completed M.S. Pharm. degree in medicinal chemistry / pharmacoinformatics or equivalent. M.Sc. in Chemistry / biology / biotechnology or equivalent.
Should have been qualified in the DBT fellowship examination or CSIR / UGC NET fellowship examination.
CONSOLIDATED PAY PER MONTH: Rs. 18,000/- plus HRA (as per the DBT fellowship or CSIR /UGC fellowship rules)
NATURE OF POST: Temporary, Co-terminus with project
PERIOD: 10 months ( or upto the end of the DST project)
DATE OF WALK-IN INTERVIEW: 14th Sept. 2011 (Wednesday) at 3.00 pm
Interested candidates with consistently good academic record may appear for WALK IN INTERVIEW with CV and attested copies of certificates along with Demand Draft of Rs. 50/- (Rs 25/- for SC/ST/PH) favoring The Director, NIPER payable at Mohali/Chandigarh. Reservation for SC/ST/PH is as per GOI Rules. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification for the post. TA/DA will not be paid for attending the interview.
