Walk-in-Interview
Walk-in-Interview will be conducted for contractual appointment of Three (3) Research Associates (RA) in USAID Funded Agricultural Innovation Partnership (AIP) Project Located at the Institute of Agricultural Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi on October 10, 2011 at 10.30 A.M. in the office of the Director, Institute of Agricultural Science, Banaras Hindu University.
Duration: The period of RA is initially for one year or till termination of the project.
Emoluments: Monthly remuneration of Rs.23,000/- for M.Sc/M.Tech plus HRA and Rs. 24,000/- for Ph.D plus HRA as per ICAR Rules.

FOR RA POSITION (EDUCATION AND FOOD SCIENCE):
QUALIFICATION: Ph.D in Agriculture and allied sciences (Preferable) OR M.Sc/ M.Tech in Agriculture and allied sciences
RESPOSIBILITIES: To work towards the operational aspects of the agricultural education activities including the coordination with project partners. To assist the Deputy Coordinator (Education and Food sciences)
FOR RA POSITION (RESEARCH AND EXTENSION):
QUALIFICATION: Ph.D in Agriculture and allied sciences with specialization in Agricultural Extension (Preferable) OR M.Sc/ M.Tech in Agriculture and allied sciences with specialization in Agricultural Extension.
FOR RA POSITION (Agril. Management):
QUALIFICATION: Ph.D in Agriculture and allied sciences (Preferable) OR M.Sc/ M.Tech in Agriculture and allied sciences.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 45 years (5 years relaxation for Female/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped candidates) as on the date of interview.
