POST: Senior Research Fellow(One)
PROJECT TITLE: ‘Mitochondrial population genomics in Indian Plasmodium falciparum’.
SPONSORING AGENCY: DBT
NATURE OF POST: purely temporary, co-terminus with the project.
DURATION: 3 years
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: Essential: Master’s degree in any branch of Life Sciences with a minimum of two years of research experience in molecular biology and/or bioinformatics.
Desirable: Candidates with research experience in molecular population genetics and/or malaria will be preferred.
MONTHLY STIPEND: Rs. 18,000.00 plus House Rent Allowances.
AGE LIMIT: 32 years (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government of India rules).
WALK-IN DATE AND TIME: 29 August 2011 at 11AM

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
