POST: Research scientist I equivalent to Scientist B) (non Medical)
NATURE OF POST: Temporary
RESERVATION: Unreserved category.
QUALIFICATIONS: First Class Masters Degree in Life/ Biological Sciences or relevant biological subjects with 2 years experience OR relevant biological discipline subjects with Ph.D./ Second class Masters Degree in Life/Biological Sciences or relevant biological discipline subjects with Ph.D.
JOB REQUIREMENT: He/ She will be required to work in area of communicable diseases
with senior scientists.
AGE LIMITS: below 35 years(Relaxation in age would be admissible for SC/ST/OBC candidates in accordance with Govt. of India rules / ordered in force.)
SALARY: Rs. 36, 54, 00- (consolidated)
DURATION: The engagement of the personnel in the above post would be on contract co-terminus
with the duration of the project and the persons would be engaged initially for one year but the period of their engagement may be curtailed / extended at the sole discretion of the competent authority.

The appointment is terminable with one month notice from either side. The incumbent selected will have no claim for regular appointment; no benefits of PF, LTC and medical claim etc. are admissible.
