Applications are invited to fill two positions of Senior Research Fellow under National Fund for Basic Strategic & Frontier Area of Agricultural Research (NFBSFARA) funded project, entitled “Development of live vaccine targeting the protein repair system(s) of Salmonella”. The positions are on purely temporary basis and will be terminated with co-terminus of the project (likely date of completion of the project is May, 2015). Essential Qualification: M. V. Sc. or M. Sc. (Biochemistry/Microbiology/ life sciences with specialization in Biochemistry or Microbiology).

Desirable qualification/ Experience:

1-2 years of research experience in Proteomics and molecular biology (for position one) and bacteriology, immunology and handling of animals like mice/poultry (for position two) would be an added advantage.

The experience should be evident ONLY through dissertation work/ research publications in referred journals.

Total emoluments: Rs. 16000/- per month (for I & II yr) & Rs. 18000/- per month (III yr and onwards) plus HRA as per rule.

Age: Maximum 35 years (relaxable as per ICAR norms)

Requisite qualifications for the post will be M.Sc. in Botany (First class /A+) from a recognized university under UGC with valid GATE/NET qualification. Preference will be given to those having specialization in Paleobotany-Palynology / Palynology / Taxonomy.
