A Walk-in-Interview will be held
on 25.08.2012 at 11.00 A.M. in the Committee room of the Centenary
Laboratory Building of Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII-M,
Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700 054 for the two posts of Research Associate in
the area of Cosmic Ray Studies at High Altitude for the IRHPA-II project
entitled, “Study of cosmic ray interactions and cosmic ray aerosol cloud
connection in the context of regional climate change”, under Prof. Sibaji
Raha, Director, Bose Institute, on an Associateship of Rs.22,000/-p.m.,
plus admissible HRA and Medical benefit. The Associateship is initially
for one year, renewable further subject to the performance basis or upto the
date of termination of the project whichever is earlier. The project is
tenable for 05 (five) years.
Essential Qualification : A good M.Sc. degree followed by
a Doctorate degree in an appropriate field or M.E./M.Tech. followed by 3 years`
research experience in related area.
Preferred : Research experience in solid
state nuclear track detectors / nuclear instrumentation / atmospheric science
instrumentation / atmospheric modeling.
Age : Preferably below 35 years
(relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates).
Interested candidates are requested
to appear in person directly in the Interview on the aforesaid date, time and
venue, with an application, addressed to the Registrar, Bose Institute,
Kolkata, along with Biodata, copies of Certificates, Mark-sheets and
Testimonials etc. The candidates must bring the original Mark-sheets,
Certificates etc., at the time of Interview.
