Interested eligible candidates are requested to appear before selection committee on 6^th September, 2012 at 11.00 a.m., in the room of the Head of the Department of Botany, University of Calcutta, 35 Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata- 700019, for an walk – in interview to work as Project fellow in the project entitled, “Ecological modeling and phytoplankton diversity study of different ecological niche with multivariate analysis and metagenomic approach,” funded by UGC under the supervision of Dr. Ruma Pal.

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Botany from a recognized University. Working experience at field level in phytoplankton sampling and algae culturing is desirable.

Emoluments @Rs. 14,000.00 p.m. (Consolidated). Candidates willing to appear in the interview must bring i) All originals of the testimonials, ii) Two sets of complete application furnishing biodata on a plain paper enclosing all attested copies of testimonials.
