WALK-IN-PERSONAL DISCUSSION

Following posts are to be filled up on purely temporary basis at ICMR Hqrs. Office, New Delhi Under the study entitled “Adhoc Proposals on Emergency Contraception” in Division of Reproductive & Child Health, ICMR. Hqrs., Ansari Nagar, New Delhi – 110029

1. Name of the Post : Senior Research Fellows - One (Non Medical)

Age : Up to 35 years (relaxation as per Govt. of India rules)

Salary : Consolidated @ Rs. 18,000/- + 30% HRA per month @ Rs.23,400/-

Qualification : M. Sc. / Master’s degree in Life Science with 2 years research / teaching experience after completing Masters degree.

Desirable : Good knowledge of Statistics and work experience in Programming Languages using Statistical packages like STATA/SPSS.

2. Name of the post : Data Entry Operator (Grade-A)/Typist (One)

Age : Up to 28 years (relaxation as per Govt. of India rules)

Salary : Rs. 16,179/- per month

Qualification : 12th Pass + one year Computer Certificate/Diploma

Desirable : Good knowledge of English language. 1-3 years Data Entry experience in health research projects.

Nature of Duties : Data Entry, Handling correspondence & other administrative work.

3. Name of the post : Attendant (One)

Age : Up to 28 years (relaxation as per Govt. of India rules)

Salary : Rs. 11,581/- per month

Qualification : 10th Pass

Desirable : Working knowledge of English language. 1-3 years work experience in handling office files/correspondence related to research projects.

The post is to be filled up on purely temporary basis. The duration of the post is initially for a period

of one year and may be extended upto Three years.

The appointment can be terminated with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason. Since the post is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project. Benefit of provident fund, HRA, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. is not applicable. Age relaxation is for SC, ST & OBC candidates as per Govt. Rules. No TA/DA etc. will be paid for attending the walk – in – personal discussion/written examination.

Candidates possessing the above qualification and experience may come for walk-in-personal discussion at ICMR, Hqrs., Ansari Nagar, New Delhi – 110029 on 25th August , 2012 at 10.00 A.M.

There may be a written test for the post of Data Entry operator. Registration of all the candidates will be

done during 9:00 AM to 10:00 A.M.
