WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna, a permanent Institute under Indian Council of Medical Research, Dept. Of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. Of India, invites applications from suitable Indian Nationals for appointment on the following Purely temporary posts (on contractual basis) under Establishment of NNMB Unit, at RMRIMS, Agamkuan, Patna.

1.NAME OF THE POST: Scientist ‘B’ (Medical) (1 Post)

QUALIFICATIONS: 1)M.B.B.S / B.A.M.S. Equivalent degree recognized by MCI / Central Council for Indian Medicine.

2) Two years research experience in carrying out Community Studies.

3)Fluency in local language

DESIRABLE: 1) M.D. Or DNB in SPM / General Medicine / Pediatrics / MPH /

DCH /DPH.

2) Knowledge of Computer Applications

CONSOLIDATED PAY: Rs. 42,756/- P.M. (Fixed)

PLACE OF APPOINTMENT: Headquarters at Patna. Selected candidates should work and tour extensively in the rural areas of Bihar State at least 20 days in a month along with the other team members.

2.NAME OF THE POST: Research Assistant (Nutritionist) (1 Post)

QUALIFICATIONS: 1)M.Sc. (Foods and Nutrition / Home Science / Applied Nutrition) from recognized University.

2) Fluency in local Language.

DESIRABLE : 2 (Two Yrs) Experience in carrying out community based studies.

CONSOLIDATED PAY: Rs. 24,920/- P.M. (Fixed)

PLACE OF APPOINTMENT:

3.NAME OF THE POST: Laboratory Technician (Tech.A) (1 Post)

QUALIFICATIONS: 1)Matriculation / S.S.C. and Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized Board / Institute.

2) Fluency in local Language.

DESIRABLE: 1. Graduation in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized Board.

2. One year experience in carrying out the lab techniques.

CONSOLIDATED PAY: Rs. 14,026/- P.M. (Fixed)

4.NAME OF THE POST: Field Attendant (1 Post)

QUALIFICATIONS: 1)10th Class.

2) Fluency in local Language.

DESIRABLE: One Year experience in field work relating to health surveys.

CONSOLIDATED PAY: Rs. 13,047/- P.M. (Fixed)

NOTE:-

(a) Walk –in-interview for Sl. No. 1 Scientist ‘B’ (Medical) & Sl. No. 4 Laboratory Technician will be held on 23/07/2012 from 10.00 am onwards.

(b) Walk –in-interview for Sl. No. 2 Research Assistant (Nutritionist), Sl. No. 3 Research Assistant (Social Worker) & Sl. No. 5 Field Attendant will be held on 24/07/2012 from 10.00 am onwards.

For the post of Scientist ‘B’ (Sl. No. 1) – Age : Not exceeding 35 years. Age relaxation is available upto 5 years for Govt. Servants, SC/ST Candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

For remaining Posts i.e. (Sl. No. 2 to 5) – Age below 28 years. Age relaxation is available upto 5 years for Govt. Servants, SC/ST Candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

In case of candidates belonging to OBC category, the certificate inter-alia must specify that the Backward Classes (OBC) Civil Post & Services under Govt. of India. OBC Certificate Should not be more than two year old as on the date of application.

Selected candidates must be willing to work anywhere in India.

Tenure: On Contract basis for nine months initially, which is extendable on yearly basis depending upon the satisfactory performance of the candidates.

Candidates may send their application along with bio-data and attested photo copies of all educational / caste certificate including permanent / provisional certificate (from SSC onwards ) of degree and with a recent pass-port size photograph to the Director, Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences, Agamkuan, Patna on or before 16/7/2012.

General conditions: The Appointment will be the same as for the project staff (on contract basis) for the entire tenure of the Project i.e. 9 months and on other regular service benefits will be admissible. The candidate will not have any right to claim for any regular employment at NIN/ICMR. The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview.
