Advertisement for the award of Senior Research Fellow in Horticulture. Applications
are invited for award of one position of Senior Research Fellow (Full time) at
a consolidated fellowship of 16000/- per month for the project entitled, “Developing National Repository and Creating
Facilities for DUS Testing in Mango, Guava and Litchi” funded by Protection
of Plant Varieties and Farmer’s Right Authority (PPV&FRA), Ministry of
Agriculture, Govt. of India. (PI- Dr. R. L. Lal, Professor, Horticulture). The
fellowship is purely temporary and may continue till the duration of the project
or maximum three years, which ever is earlier. The appointment shall be given
on six monthly review basis. Applicants possessing M.Sc. Ag. (Horti.) degree
should apply on plain paper with following information and submit the
application in the office of Head, Department of Horticulture, College of
Agriculture, G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar
(U.S. Nagar), Uttarakhand on or before August
13, 2012. Candidates fulfilling the qualifications should appear for the
interview on August 14, 2012 at 11.00
A.M. in the Committee Room, Dept. of Horticulture, College of Agriculture
of this University at their own expenses. No Separate interview letter will be
issued and no TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
Note: A
passport size photograph must be affixed at the right corner of the application
by the applicant. Attested copies of all certificated/degree/testimonials must
be enclosed. Originals should be produced at the time of interview. No interim
correspondence will be entertained.
