ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION:
Ph.D in any branch of Life Sciences.
EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED: 3
years postdoctoral research experience in cancer biology with special emphasis
on tumor angiogenesis, vascular biology, lymphangiogenesis, metastasis and
therapy.
DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:
Experience in anticancer lead identification, target validation, mechanism of
action and in vivo animal models.
JOB REQUIREMENT: The incumbent is expected to be
involved in projects dealing with the basic understanding of tumorigenesis,
development of anticancer agents and participate in various other related
institutional programs.
AGE LIMIT: 45 years for Principal Scientist
and 50 years for Senior Principal Scientist.
RESERVATION STATUS: Unreserved.
PAY BAND: Rs. 37,400-67,000/-
GRADE PAY: The Selection Committee
depending upon the performance of the candidate may choose to place the
candidate in any of the Grade Pay (Rs. 8700/- Or Rs. 8900/-) within the Pay Band
subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criterion specified.
TOTAL EMOLUMENTS : The total monthly emoluments
at this level inclusive of all allowances would be approximately between Rs.
98,091/- to Rs. 1,04,121/-
APPLICATION FEE: Bank Draft of Rs.100/- drawn in
favour of Director, IICB payable at Kolkata.(The application fee is exempted
for PH Candidate)
